Set for an October 5 debut on Global here and The N in the US, the coming-of-age college comedy About a Girl is currently shooting in North Vancouver and at Burnaby’s Bridge Studios. Starring local newcomers, it’s about a university student who can’t get a dorm room and ends up living off-campus with four young guys.
Behind-the-camera credentials for the 13×30 series are stellar. Sitcom veteran Tim O’Donnell (Growing Pains) is co-exec producer and a notable roster of directors is on board, including Mina Shum (Long Life, Happiness and Prosperity) and Brian Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond).
