MTV’s upcoming Canadian version of the hit US series Made doesn’t have any sponsorship yet, but the net reports it’s open to marketer involvement. The channel is looking for participants who can round out a four-episode run with an air date TBA. Meanwhile, viewers are being invited to submit their dream career makeovers to MTV.ca.
The US version of the show – in which participants are coached by pros to achieve their goals of becoming singers, athletes and dancers – is in its seventh season, and it’s one of MTV Canada’s top 10 series, airing Monday to Friday at 3 pm ET. The first Canadian episode will feature a teen girl from Rexdale, ON, who aspires to be a hip-hop dancer, getting pointers from choreographer Stacy Simpson.
MTV.ca will air a broadband special, Life After Made, in which the remade subject returns at a later date to discuss how his or her life has changed since the show’s taping.
