From its Canadian office in Montreal, the Geneva-HQ’d Neo Advertising Group – which operates a digital signage network in about 60 Canadian and 10 American shopping centres – made two announcements yesterday.
One was the appointment of Jean-Claude Henri, former Pattison Outdoor Advertising Eastern region VP/GM, as Neo’s new EVP marketing and business development. The second bit of news was that, as part of an upcoming push throughout North America, Neo is setting up a sales office in downtown Toronto. Heading up the team there will be former DAN VP Ian Dobson, who is now Neo’s VP sales.
Prior to joining Pattison, Henri worked in the outdoor arena for decades, at Urbanoscope (now CBS) and OMNI (now Astral). He is credited with introducing the innovative concept of vertical advertising pillars in North America.
