Zoom Media appoints new prez

Andy Querin's a busy man. He sits on boards for the Canadian Outdoor Measurement Bureau and the Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada, serves as a key committee member for the National Advertising Benevolent Society, and gets up in front of students as a guest lecturer at Seneca College. Now, he's a president.

Andy Querin is taking the helm at Montreal-based Zoom Media Canada as president and CEO. Querin started with the Zoom team in May 2002. Most recently, his responsibilities included running Ontario and Western Canada while overseeing all sales and marketing functions for the company.

Prior to joining Zoom, Querin worked at CBC TV as national network marketing manager and was responsible for sales and revenue management for its core television properties.
