Canadian Primedia opens sales office in Vancouver

Canada's largest independent ad sales agency for daily newspapers, which represents over 40 newspapers and 16 Canadian consumer magazines, has formed a new entity to handle sales and marketing in western Canada and the northwest US.

Toronto HQ’d Canadian Primedia Sales & Marketing has contracted with the newly formed ad sales agency Prime West Media Sales to handle sales and marketing in western Canada and the northwest US out of Vancouver. The new entity is owned by west coast industry vet Derrick Chamberlain, former VP sales and marketing for VANNET Community Newspapers, which is owned by CanWest Global Communications.
