CH is hitting the high-energy game show scene with a new offering, Show Me The Money, created by the same people who thought up Deal or No Deal, only this contest is hosted by William Shatner. A special 90-minute preview of the series on Nov. 14 drew an audience of 407,000 on CH Hamilton, and combined with CH’s other measured station, CHEK, Show Me The Money‘s preview was seen by 540,000 viewers.

The series premieres on CH (Toronto, Hamilton, Victoria and Vancouver – not on CH Montreal) on Nov. 22 in the Wednesday night 8 p.m. ET/PT timeslot. Similar to the hit Howie Mandel vehicle, after each trivia answer, the contestant chooses one of 13 stunning dancers, each holding a scroll with a dollar figure to be added or subtracted – for correct or incorrect answers – to the contestant’s total. With no opportunity to play it safe, contestants must play to the very end. Shatner’s popularity may just draw Trekkies in by the droves with this one, so watch out Mandel.
