Prospere magazine gets Delectably Chic

The online female-focused 'magazine' rebrands with a new name and new focus on 'food, fashion and fun.'

First launched in 2008, Toronto-based Prospere Magazine has been rebranded with a new name, new look and new focus.

Now called Delectably Chic, the online-only publication has shifted its focus to narrow in on three main areas: ‘food, fashion and fun.’

Targeting 25- to 40-year-old women, the site offers advertising opportunities such as display, sponsorship of videos, branded content and contest opportunities. Under the Prospere banner, the site received an average of 15,000 unique visitors monthly, as measured by Google Analytics.

The site was rebranded in order to reflect its most popular content, site founder and editor Cynthia Cheng Mintz said in a release.

‘I launched Prospere Magazine in 2008, which had a strong business focus,’ she said. ‘Now in 2010, the site has changed to respond to our avid readers and their changing interests by focusing more on food and style.’

The site will focus on food and restaurant reviews, fashion, arts and entertainment, and will tailor its content toward ‘women who want a more grown-up outlook on lifestyle, but are, at the same time, not interested in the suburban soccer mom type publications,’ Mintz tells MiC.

The site’s rebrand will be primarily promoted through social media.
