Montreal-based Newad is continuing to expand its sales force with the hire of Joanne Leboeuf to the position of GM, indoor advertising, Eastern Canada.

Following the appointment of Paul Sedik earlier this month to the new position of regional GM, indoor advertising, Central Canada, Leboeuf will be handling a similar portfolio in Eastern Canada, which includes oversight of the sales team and network development.

Leboeuf arrives at Newad after 20 years in sales and marketing in the media industry, including time as VP, radio and internet sales, Corus Quebec, and GM of interactive sales at Astral Media Radio. Most recently, she was VP and GM at the Bureau of Commercialisation de la Radio du Québec.

Targeting the 18- to 34-year-old market, Newad has offices in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Moncton.
