Genesis Media adds racetracks to ‘stable of clients’

Toronto-based agency has won the Woodbine and Mohawk account.

Genesis Media is the media buying AOR for the Woodbine Entertainment Group. The agency will be responsible for handling all of the entertainment group’s properties, which include the Woodbine and Mohawk Standardbred and Thoroughbred racetracks, Champions off-track wagering, Turf Lounge and the Stadium Bar.

Genesis president Annette Warring says the account win adds to the ‘stable of clients’ within the agency’s entertainment unit. The agency’s services will include traditional, digital, e-services, DR, geo-marketing, database and year-round tracking.

The agency search was led by WEG director of events and marketing Ann Scott and media search consultant Jeff Marchand.
