Rogers names new VP national media sales

Janice Smith joins from the CBC to fill Alan Dark's old role.

Alan Dark, the recently appointed SVP media sales at Rogers  Media, has hired a replacement to fill his old role, announcing Janice Smith as the company’s new VP, national media sales.

Smith joins from the CBC, where she was most recently executive director of multiplatform sales for CBC’s Revenue Group and worked with Dark before he moved to Rogers in the spring.

Smith will be based out of Toronto and lead Rogers One Call sales strategy and also setting strategic direction for the national sales team, specialty team and One Call agency teams.
