LeDevoir to sell national ads through Branchez-Vous network

Marketers looking to tap into one of Quebec’s most influential sources of news, business and technology audiences – readers of LeDevoir.com – can now take their dollars to Branchez-Vous! Its network, which includes about 60 specialized websites and gives advertisers access to two thirds of Internet users in Quebec, has a new mandate to sell the French daily’s national advertising. LeDevoir.com attracts more than 200,000 unique visitors per month in French Canada and over five million total page views per month. ComScore MediaMetrix pegs the Branchez-Vous! network’s monthly reach at about 2.5 million French Canadians.

Branchez-Vous! CEO Patrick Pierra says the deal to represent LeDevoir.com means ‘a significant potential in combined sales with our portal Branchez-Vous.com as an alternative to other portals like Canoe, Cyberpresse and Radio-Canada.’

In recent weeks, Branchez-Vous! has also agreed to represent a list of online properties in Quebec. These include Le Lien Multimedia (www.lienmultimedia.com), the reference site of the multimedia industry in Québec; Palmares.ca, the new site selling music online from Astral Media; Supernews.ca, an entertainment news site; Cine-Horaire.com, a practical reference and listings site for moviegoers; MonChar.com, a hub for ‘tuning’ fans; VersusQuebec.com, a new sport news site; SOScuisine.com, a bilingual site helping users smartly plan their meals and grocery shopping; and LivingHot.com, an information and community site for young Anglophones in the Montreal area.
