Toronto and Montreal teams shake things up

The strategic alliance team for Quebec Sympatico/MSN sales is getting two new faces. Joe Strolz, leaving Bell Canada Enterprise Marketing, has become the new associate director strategic alliances. Francois Bedard is also joining the strategic alliance team as an associate director of sales in Quebec. He brings 12 years of experience in the digital media business, having worked as an exec account manager, marketing director and most recently for Sixieme Sens as a strategic consultant to the digital media market in Quebec in his role as president and founder.

In Toronto, Ray Philipose has been promoted to director of media operations at Bell Canada-Sympatico Portal Division. Previously, he was associate director, product & platform management and has worked in various leadership roles for Bell’s Sympatico/MSN team over the last three years. Crispin Bailey is also joining the media operations team as associate director of technology. For the past two years, he was responsible for the Service.Sympatico.ca website, including the integration of Virtual Emily, and the Passport sign-in component of the Service Site.

Matt Weinstein is leaving AOL Canada to take up the role of national sales manager in Toronto, reporting to Al Maitland, director-national sales (West). Jeremy Ienco is also joining the Toronto sales team as inside sales manager under Maitland. He comes from Canoe/Quebecor, where he sold traditional media.
