Alison Simpson will become president/COO of GWP Brand Engineering in early December, succeeding partner Bruce Philp, whose new title will be chairman/CEO. The agency co-founder will devote most of his time to being a strategic counselor to clients, while Philippe Garneau’s role will remain unchanged.
Most recently the managing director of Calgary’s Venture Communications, which she launched into Toronto, Simpson was previously president of Enterprise Creative Selling, the agency best known for its work on behalf of Tim Horton. Before that, she oversaw the Molson business at MacLaren McCann, and the Apple Computer account at BBDO.
