Astral Media Plus adds Hébert

The newly-named Innovation and Str@tegy department at Montreal's Astral Media Plus works on custom projects that don't fall in the '30-second spot' category. Now, there's a new director at the helm.

Montreal-based Astral Media Plus has appointed Christiane Hébert to be director of the Innovation & Str@tegy department. Formerly known as the creativity media department, the six-year old division handles solutions outside of the 30-second TV spot (non brandsell TV and Internet possibilities).

Hébert began her career at MusiquePlus, then worked at TVA for both national sales and creativity media departments. In 2001, she made her entrance at Astral Media and contributed to the foundation of the Astral media mix department.

Astral Media Plus represents specialty nets such as Canal Vie, Séries+, Canal D, Historia, Ztélé Vrak.tv and Teletoon.
