12 on first Media Agency of the Year shortlist

A dozen Canadian media agencies are tapped for strategy's first-ever juried edition of its annual media awards show. And the AOY shortlist has two new additions this year . . .

This year strategy revised the process for its longstanding Media Agency of the Year competiton to more closely mirror strategy‘s Agency of the Year (AOY) process, by adding a shortlist and case-adjudication stage.

This time around, in addition to nominating Media Director of the Year and voting on the Next Media Star, media sellers across Canada also nominated top-performing media agencies. Those with the most votes were invited to submit three cases to be judged AOY-style – an overall score for the creativity, strategy and impact of a body of work – by a jury comprised of marketers, media sellers, media directors, and educators.
