PHD Canada promoted two of its rising stars this week. Assuming the role of VP client services director of PHD’s newly created Client Service Group is Zoryana Loboyko. Loboyko will be leading a team servicing Hershey, Quiznos, SAB Miller Brewing, Air New Zealand, Crayola, Jakk’s and K’Nex.
Loboyko moves to the new role from the position of group account director, where she has been directly involved in the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, Degree for Men’s Poker Challenge, Axe’s University Rankings and the Dove Cool Moisture Green newspaper.
Loboyko began her media career at PHD in 2001 as a research analyst, and has placed at the National Advertisers Young Media Competition for four consecutive years and has been acknowledged by strategy as a ‘Rising Young Media Star.’
Moving from the account director position into the expanded role of group account director is Johanna Vandenbogaerde, who will continue to lead the team servicing Home Hardware, Enterprise and Mabe (GE Appliances). ‘The reality is, over the next year it’s a challenging marketplace,’ Vandenbogaerde tells MiC. ‘We want to maintain the client’s presence in the marketplace during the challenge that we face in 2009.’
With close to 13 years of media planning experience, Vandenbogaerde began her career at McKim Media Group in 1996, joined The Media Company/MBS as a senior media executive in 1999 and moved to PHD as account director in 2001. Vandenbogaerde’s contribution to client service has enhanced the ‘Employee Experience’ program at PHD, which has been instrumental in promoting the firm’s image as a ‘people first’ place to work.
