Sharpe Blackmore Euro RSCG is integrating the developers of Toronto-based rich media software co, Radus, into its team. The new partnership agreement, which builds on a number of past mobile app collabs for Sharpe Blackmore Euro RSCG clients, will help facilitate the development of further original software and mobile applications – something the agency has been aggressively pursuing.
Sharpe Blackmore VP and creative director Ron Tite says the move, which has Radus members moving into the agency’s Toronto office, will enhance the agency’s capabilities to offer its clients ‘applications that go beyond traditional interactive work,’ adding that ‘[Radus] won’t be pumping out banner ads.’
‘Developing relationships with advanced software solution companies gives us a dramatic point of difference in what we can give our clients,’ Fraser McNaught, director of digital at Sharpe Blackmore, tells MiC. ‘We can actually influence more than just the content; we can influence the flow of information, and that’s powerful.’
Toronto-based Sharpe Blackmore Euro RSCG’s clients include Air France, CDW, Evian, Fidelity, GSK, Hershey, Home Hardware, Kraft, Reckitt Benckiser, Schering Plough and Volvo.
