Big Bang Theory tops again

The sitcom held on to the top spot in a week that saw CTV host the five most-watched shows. Grey's Anatomy and Amazing Race rounded out the top three.

Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for Sept. 27 to Oct. 3, 2010:

Monday: Dancing with the Stars on CTV at 8 p.m. won the night with 2.350 million viewers, taking over for last week’s winner, House, which was a close second with 2.264 million viewers.

Tuesday: Glee on Global at 8 p.m. held on to its top spot with 2.460 million viewers, up from last week’s showing of 2.244 million. Second place for the night was No Ordinary Family on CTV at 8 p.m., with 2.074 million viewers.

Wednesday: Criminal Minds at 9 p.m. on CTV beat out Survivor: Nicaragua for the second straight week with 2.539 million viewers. Survivor had 2.426 million viewers.

Thursday: The Big Bang Theory at 8 p.m. on CTV won the week and the night with 2.964 million viewers, down from last week’s 3.112 million. Grey’s Anatomy at 9 p.m., also on CTV, was second on the night and the week, knocking The Mentalist at 10 p.m. on the same network down to third.

Friday: CSI: New York on CTV at 9 p.m. was the night’s most-watched show with 2.056 million viewers. Blue Bloods 10 p.m. on CTV was in second place for the night with 1.585 million viewers.

Saturday: CTV National News at 11 p.m. was the biggest show of the night with 1.230 million viewers, down from last week’s 1.259 million.

Sunday: Amazing Race 17, CTV at 8 p.m., held on to the top spot with 2.623 million viewers, up from the 2.438 million who tuned in for the premiere the previous week.
