BBS Media is homeward bound with new rep deal

The Toronto firm will be handling Haven Home Media's Canadian inventory.

BBS Media has signed on to represent the online ad inventory of Haven Home Media, a home and garden media company that reaches 1.7 million Canadian UMVs across its 60 sites, according to ComScore numbers.

The Toronto-based company, which already reps the Canadian inventories of the Washington Post and Men’s Health, among others, has been looking for a way to attract advertisers in the home improvement industry.

The new inventory includes content and sponsorship programs across the network, as well as channel, contextual and behavioural targeting, custom content and video opps, Mark Boxer, managing partner, BBS Media, tells MiC.

‘Not only is reach important, but getting people in the right mindset and at passion points is important,’ he says.

Haven Home Media’s network includes DIY, home improvement, design and decor sites and blogs, including Hometime.com and HookedonHouses.net. Earlier this week, the company launched ShelterHub.com, which aggregates content from its sites for a one-stop shop of home improvement content.
