Another big move in the media world today, with news breaking that Initiative EVP and managing director Michele Pauchuk is taking over as president at MEC, a WPP agency.
Pauchuk, who has been with Initiative since 2008, takes over from Bruce Neve, who MiC learned was leaving MEC to become the CEO at Starcom MediaVest Group in Canada in late April of this year.
When MiC spoke with Pauchuk late last year she said the biggest challenge facing media agencies today is the tightened economic outlook and expanding universe of touchpoint options.
No word on who will be taking over for Pauchuk at Initiative.
