Rogers Media-owned Sportsnet has signed a five-year multi-platform agreement with the Canadian Soccer Association.
In addition airing select home and away games for Canada’s men’s and women’s national teams, Sportsnet will also broadcast Canada’s 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil qualifying matches.
The contract renews Sportsnet’s partnership with the Canadian Soccer Association, which dates back to 1999.
Canada’s next 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil qualifying match broadcast is Tuesday Oct. 11 at 7 p.m., against Puerto Rico.
A Rogers Media spokesperson said sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available, but all deals must go through the Canadian Soccer Association.
