Shaw Media has promoted Nick Crowe to director of original factual content.

In his new role, Crowe will oversee development and production of new series and specials from indie producers for History Television, TVtropolis, and Global Television.

He earlier completed production stints at Alliance Atlantis Communications and Canwest Broadcasting, the predecessors to Shaw Media, as a production executive and program manager for History Television.

Crowe was most recently a factual production executive, with credits like D-Day to Victory, Manson, Storming Juno and William Shatner’s Weird or What.

Crowe will report to Sarah Jane Flynn, senior director, original factual content at Shaw Media.
