CBC buys the top spot: Media Monitors

The pubcaster purchased the most radio airtime in Toronto for the week of Feb. 2 to 8.

The CBC bought the most radio airtime in Toronto for the week of Feb. 2 to 8, according to the latest Media Monitors report .

Coming in behind the pubcaster was Subaru, which landed at #2 for the second straight week. McDonald’s made a big jump from #25 to #3, the Ford Dealer Association joined the list at #4 and Spence Diamonds moved from #7 to #5, rounding out the top of the list in the city.

In Montreal it was Ford Lincoln in the top spot for the second straight week. The car co was followed by Fido Solutions, which moved from #4 to #2. The CBC joined the list at #3 in the city, followed by Subway, which jumped from #7 to #4, and McDonald’s, which moved from #29 to #5.
