U.S.-based real-time advertising and audience measurement company Quantcast has announced that it is expanding its presence in Toronto.
“We do see Canada as a growth market for us,” says Scott Spaulding, head of eastern and central field sales. “We see it as a natural extension from what we have been doing in the United States and offering that to the agencies.”
Quantcast started working with a single Canadian seller in 2013. Its success so far led to a decision to expand their access in Canada, says Spaulding. The company will focus on setting up strategic partnerships with its clients and help its further enhance the marketing programs to sophisticated data analysis and help advertisers convert aggressive ROI metrics.
The company, which currently works with media companies like Buzzfeed, the New York Post and NBC Universal in the U.S., has hired Tina Barnes to lead the Canadian office.
Barnes joins Quantcast from Amobee (formerly Adconion), where she worked as VP and managing director for seven-and-a-half years.
