The Late Late Show with James Corden is moving on up in Canada, swapping places with Late Night with Seth Meyers to land on CTV. The show had been airing on CTV Two. In addition, Corden has been named today as host of the Tony Awards

The CTV swap takes place next Monday at peak mid-season. Corden’s show premiered last March and has been building buzz with segments like “Carpool Karaoke,” which has featured the likes of Adele, Justin Bieber, One Direction and Mariah Carey.

So far this season The Late Late Show With James Corden is averaging 69,000 viewers on CTV Two, according to Numeris numbers from Bell Media.

“In a very short period of time, James Corden has emerged as a breakthrough force in the late night landscape,” stated Mike Cosentino, SVP, programming, CTV Networks and CraveTV in a release. “This…will be a good test to see if the show can be a breakout late-night hit for CTV.”

The Late Late Show with James Corden airs weeknights at 12:35 a.m.
