Cue Digital Media has made some high-level hires, adding three new members to the team.
Joining are Susan Courtney as director of news and business, national sales, Alison Demelis as director, women’s group, national sales and Jake Labow as VP of content.
Courtney comes to Cue Digital Media from her most recent role as a consultant. She has previously worked as a VP of sales with Quebecor Media and also held senior roles at Starcom MediaVest Group, Torstar and Cossette. At Cue Media Courtney will manage day-to-day agency and client relationships in the news and business vertical, which includes representation for Business Insider, CNN, Vox and MailOnline.
Demelis joins Cue Media from her most recent job as a group manager at Bell Media. At Cue Demelis will be responsible for managing the company’s full slate of female-skewing inventory, which includes its new client Us Weekly, MailOnline, Bustle and Thought Catalog.
Overseeing original content in his new role at Cue, Labow comes to the company after two years as a consultant. He has worked in high-level production roles with companies including Bell Media and Beverly Hills-based Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
