SendtoNews signs with Moat

The sports video clip network is upping its transparency with the deal, which will provide reports on the viewability and attention paid to its content.

Online sports video clips provider SendtoNews has put viewability higher up on its mandate, signing a new deal with analytics company Moat.

The deal will provide ad measurement and reports across metrics including viewability, invalid traffic and attention for its online video clips.

Phil Guay, EVP, sales and strategic partnerships for SendtoNews, said that proven viewability is one of the top three factors advertisers take into account before spending their dollars online. He added this deal allows his company to add more robust third-party metrics for clients. 

SendtoNews provides video clips to a network of more than 1,500 news properties across North America, including the Globe and Mail, Postmedia’s titles and La Presse.
