Aux Mode, a growing multichannel network, has hired two new vice-presidents to bolster its sales division.

Enrique Soissa, previously country manager at DailyMotion, and Caroline Tyre, formerly senior director of international sales and acquisitions at Breakthrough Entertainment, both joined the company in October.

Soissa started out in the music business, working with Universal Music Group before co-founding Paper Bag Records in 2002. He helped open DailyMotion’s Canadian office, and headed its content operations.

Tyre’s background is in media sales, having worked at DHX Media and CBC before becoming a program director at Teletoon. At Breakthrough, she oversaw content distribution for Australia, Latin America and Western Europe.

Aux Mode says it has seen more than 100% growth over the last year. The five-year-old MCN has worked on projects with ZoomerMedia, Marble Media and Breakthrough Entertainment in the past, and says the content in its network earns more than one billion views monthly.
