The Honda Dealer Association was the top radio ad buyer in the Toronto market for the week of Sept. 17 to 23, knocking last week’s top buyer, Ford, down to #4, according to the latest Media Monitors report.
The #2 spot was taken by Acura Dealer Association, with BMO at #3 – moving up from #12 the previous week. With #4 going to Ford, the top five was rounded out with new entrant BMW.
Also new to the top 10 was Infinity, entering the list at #9.
CTV was in the #1 spot for the second week in a row, followed by Allstate, Ford, Casino Montréal and Pizza Pizza.
Ford was a new advertiser on the city’s top 10 list, along with Corbeil Appliances (#9).
The car and truck, dealer association remained the #1 Toronto category, upping its play count significantly to 4,293 spots this week from 2,589 spots last week.
The same goes for the Montreal market, where the category was #1 for another week. Its play count did dip slightly, however, down to 976 spots from 1,025.
