Citytv drops mid-season lineup

Returning favourites like The Bachelor air alongside two new series, Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector and Duncanville.

Citytv is using the cozy holiday season to give the gift of new and returning series, rolling out its mid-season lineup.

Things kick off Jan. 6 with season 24 of The Bachelor at 7 p.m. EST featuring the newest contestant looking for love, Pilot Pete, followed by the premiere of season two of Manifest at 10 p.m.

On Friday Jan. 10, brand new series, Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector premieres. Based on the best-selling book series by Jeffery Deaver, the new series follows an NYPD detective and forensics genius played by Russell Hornsby, who is joined by officer Amelia Sachs played by Arielle Kebbel.

Music’s best turn out Jan. 26 for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards as the ceremony gets underway at 8 p.m. with nominated Canadian artists including Northern Cree, Jessie Reyez, Shawn Mendes and Drake.

The following month sees the return of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, as season seven kicks off Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. Citytv launches its second new series, Duncanville Feb. 16 at 8:30 p.m. The 30-minute animated family comedy is produced by Amy Poehler who also provides the voice of the leader character, Duncan.
