The Good Doctor grows its audience: Numeris

Medical dramas were on top, with Grey's closely following The Good Doctor.

Once again, the top shows in the country were medical dramas.

The Good Doctor continued its near-uninterrupted reign as the most-watched single-night show of the week, according to the Numeris charts for the week ended March 1. Pulling in an AMA (2+) of 2.64 million, it was followed closely by another CTV medical drama, Grey’s Anatomy.

Another Shondaland show, Station 19, followed in third, with 9-1-1: Lone Star and Survivor filling out the top-five.

Regionally, The Good Doctor took three markets (Montreal, Toronto and Calgary), while Vancouver was most tuned-in to the Feb. 29 hockey match between the Canucks and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Edmonton, on the other hand, opted for The Rookie. In the Francophone market, the exact same shows as last week made the top-five (in the very same order), with La voix still undefeated as the most-watched show for the market.
