Digital marketing agency Bloom is continuing to grow, hiring Franz Fontaine as its VP of strategy to provide a more holistic strategic offering to clients.
Based in Montreal, Fontaine will provide strategic support to Bloom’s clients and help them achieve growth through online channels. Martin Perron, CEO and co-founder of Bloom, says Fontaine has experience in areas like multichannel strategic planning, brand positioning, data intelligence and performance marketing – which will help the agency in creating 360-degree strategies for its clients.
Fontaine joins from Cogeco Media, where he spent nearly two years leading strategy and sales in Montreal. He brings experience from agencies (such as digital shop Peach Intelligence, Seevibes and Mediative) on top of stints at media companies including Bell and Quebecor.
In addition to digital strategy, Bloom specializes in paid search, display, social ads, SEO and inbound marketing. Last year, it established a Toronto presence – between its two offices, the agency’s headcount now tops 50 staff, including Fontaine and 16 hires it made in 2020.
Bloom’s clients have included Bath Depot, Polysleep, McGill University and Cook It.
