Chanteurs masqués brought in 1.837 million viewers for TVA, continuing its streak at the top of the ratings for French-language programming. But that also topped the 1.752 million viewers the top-rated English show, 9-1-1, brought in for Global. Chanteurs masqués‘ series premiere also surpassed the ratings for English programs that week, though most English networks were still in off-season programming at the time.

Regionally, the episode of Saturday Night Live hosted by Canadian actor and former Kim’s Convenience star Simu Liu performed well, topping the ratings in Toronto/Hamilton with 424,000 viewers and reaching the top five in Vancouver/Victoria.
