9-1-1: Lone Star hits the top of the ratings: Numeris

Meanwhile, the debut of Le bonheur brought in big ratings for TVA in Quebec.

CTV’s 9-1-1: Lone Star kicked off the first full week of new year’s viewing at the top of the ratings, according to Numeris data for Jan. 3 to 9.

The Texas-based drama brought in 1.804 million viewers nationally, and topped the regional ratings in Montreal and Calgary.

In Quebec, the series premiere of TVA comedy La bonheur – starring comedian Michel Charette as a high school teacher who escapes to the countryside after an outburst aimed at his students – was the highest-ranked French show, bringing in 1.911 million viewers. It was followed by the third season premiere of TVA comedy Léo in second.

Though it didn’t break into the national top five, the series premiere of CTV crime drama The Cleaning Lady topped the ratings in the big Toronto/Hamilton market, and came in second in Montreal.
