Pinterest schools advertisers on how to best use its platform

Pinterest Academy offers courses and lessons on how to best reach users in a high-intent state.

Pinterest has launched Pinterest Academy in Canada, an interactive e-learning platform to help brands learn how to connect with their consumers on the platform, and the best ways to do so when they are in a high-intent phase.

Pinterest Academy is a redesign of the program that first launched in 2019. The curriculum includes over 14 courses and more than 30 lessons with instructions and tips for every step of the campaign process, covering basics to ad formats and measurement tools. The lessons are concise and designed to take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

“In today’s competitive advertising environment, it’s more important than ever for brands to have the tools they need to reach their audiences in a targeted, efficient and culturally relevant way,” Kristie Painting, country manager, Pinterest Canada, says. “On Pinterest, where people come with high intent to act, brands are additive to their discovery experience.  We created Pinterest Academy as a resource for every brand ready to tap into this highly engaged audience to derive full benefit from the Pinterest platform.”

Pinterest Academy courses are now available in Canada with international versions slated to launch later this year. According to Pinterest, it has more than 400 million active users globally each month.
