Chatr was once again the most active radio advertiser nationally last week, according to media monitoring data from AdEase.
However, the telco only had the top spot in the Vancouver market. It was once again in the top ten in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Quebec City, where it increased its number of spots.
Ahead of Monday’s Alberta provincial election, Calgary and Edmonton’s top ten lists once again featured a bevy of election-related ads, be they from Elections Alberta or the province’s political parties.
It was McDonald’s, however, that was in the top spot in Edmonton, and third-most active nationally. Nissan, meanwhile, moved to the top in Toronto and Bell made a big leap to the top in Quebec City. Toyota was also in the top ten in every major market, except for Montreal.
Categorically, dine-in restaurants were the most active group of advertisers, helped by a Cora campaign behind its $1 kids menu that reached the top ten across markets.
