The most active radio advertisers across Canada have kept up their buys, according to media monitoring data from AdEase for the week of June 5 to 11.
The top three advertisers at the national level remained unchanged, with McDonald’s more than doubling the play count of Cora, with Spence Diamonds in third. McDonald’s was the most-active advertiser across markets, except for Montreal, where it was bumped to third by the Government of Quebec in first and Bell in second.
Another area in which Montreal was an outlier is a major push from auto brands. The Honda, Toyota and Nissan dealer associations all landed in the top ten, with the latter two beginning new campaigns. By comparison, only Toronto and Quebec City had an automaker in the top ten, with Subaru and Toyota, respectively.
