QSRs continue to be the most active radio advertisers, but several are hot on their heels, according to media monitoring data from AdEase for July 10 to 16.
McDonald’s was the top radio advertiser nationally (landing in the top ten in every major market except Toronto), followed by Subway (which was in the top ten in every market except Quebec City).
Rogers, however, made a jump into third nationally with a push behind a recent campaign for its business services. Specsavers was the week’s biggest gainer, landing in fifth nationally for a campaign promoting its summer sale.
Speedy Auto Glass also began a new campaign in the top ten in three different markets.
Categorically, QSRs and other bars were once again the most active advertiser category, but Specsavers and Speedy helped eyewear and auto body also jump into the top five.
