McDonald’s hasn’t moved from the top of the AdEase TV charts for several weeks now, as it continues to promote its fast fare during the busy holiday season.

According to AdEase’s latest report, the QSR recorded 3,500 overall occurrences from Dec. 11 to 17, which is 425 lower than the previous week. The company also ranked first in AdEase’s ranking of top spots, racking up 334 occurrences for its quarter-pound cheeseburger ad.

Leon’s Furniture placed second with 2,014 occurrences and a strong presence in Vancouver and Calgary. For its part, Downy, which was second the previous week, came in seventh in Vancouver and third in Montreal.

Category-wise, TV and streaming services continue to lead. This category, which has been in the top three for the past months, is expected to remain strong in 2024, with 78% of Canadians subscribing to at least one service this year, according to a recent MTM report. On specialty, Crave TV once again ranked first with 4,103 occurrences.
