People stopping for a break along Ontario’s 401 and 400 series highways are about to get an eyeful.
Pattison Outdoor Advertising announced Tuesday that it has partnered with highway rest-stop operator OnRoute to roll out a trove of new high-impact digital boards.
The new inventory includes 23 structures of 14-by-48 feet, with 30 digital displays and 16 static displays. The first phase of the signage installations will kick off this month.
“This collaboration with OnRoute signifies a momentous step in highway advertising. These strategically positioned signs will provide unparalleled visibility,” said Pattison’s director of leasing Nicholas Campney in a release.
Earlier this year, in May, Pattison signed a five-year agreement for advertising rights on MiWay, the public transit system for the City of Mississauga. The agreement allows it to sell outdoor and indoor bus advertising on the public transit system’s buses.
OnRoute operates 23 service stations located along Ontario’s 400 and 401 series highways, offering convenience stores, restaurants, electric vehicle charging stations and Wi-Fi.
