Shoppers returned to the top spot from Dec. 11 to 17 after losing it the previous week, according to AdEase Radio’s latest report.
The drugstore chain took the first place in Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal as the most active advertiser and recorded 8,276 overall occurrences.
Specific to its creative, the company notched up 501 occurrences in Vancouver with an ad promoting it as a destination for last-minute gifts, putting it in #10 in AdEase’s ranking of top ad-spots for Vancouver and Calgary. Meanwhile, West Coast restaurant chain White Spot claimed #1 on that list with 1,178 occurrences of its gift card ad.
Spence Diamonds ranked as the second-most-active advertiser with 6,960 occurrences, and Subway placed third with 4,480 occurrences.
One of the biggest movers was London Drugs, which moved up 106 positions to rank fifth in Vanocuver, as well as Nissan dealership, which rose 86 spots to finish fifth in Ottawa.
