Global contextual digital advertising company Seedtag has expanded into Canada and appointed Amanda Pui as the country’s national sales director. In this new role, the former Vistar Media exec will be responsible for launching the Canadian arm and building brand awareness for Seedtag.
Based in Toronto, Pui has spent more than 12 years in the digital media space, on the agency-side and in sales roles on both the SSP/DSP side. Most recently, she spent six years at Vistar Media building its programmatic DOOH offering in Canada as sales director. She has also held senior account positions with Magnite and Eyereturn Marketing and before that she was on the media agency side as a senior media planner at Top Drawer Creative.
Seedtag offers cookieless contextual advertising solutions that engage consumers based on their interests. Its contextual AI technology, Liz, was built to provide privacy-first, AI-enabled ad solutions tailored to the Canadian market, with an emphasis on privacy and limited access to third-party data.
Seedtag’s contextual AI is able to look at the entire content universe from a birds-eye view, to understand where a brand organically sits across the open web and find insights and overlap relative to its competitors. The Liz technology scans 60 million articles each day to identify trends and areas of interest.
“Canadian buyers are always looking for new solutions to help them drive efficiency, ROAS and new innovations for their brands in the ever-changing digital media landscape, and Seedtag’s product solutions fit across all levels of the purchase funnel,” says Pui.
Seedtag was founded in Madrid in 2014 and is now a global company with more than 500 employees and offices in Spain, France, Italy, UK, Benelux, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, UAE, the U.S. and India.
