Promotions at Publicis

Publicis Media Canada has promoted Veronik L’Heureux to lead Spark Foundy’s national operations as president. Most recently EVP managing director Canada based in Montreal, L’Heureux brings a wealth of experience to her new position. She has held senior positions at the agency for about seven years and successfully driven impressive growth and built high-performing teams. Before joining Spark Foundry, L’Heureux spent eight years with Dentsu Media.

Other promotions at Spark Foundry include Toronto-based Paul Hewitt who has been bumped up to SVP Media Planning, joining Maryann Rusnak as a senior member of the leadership team. Hewitt has been with Spark since 2017. He has agency experience in both Canada and the U.S. and was with Starcom MediaVest Group for about eight years before joining Spark Foundry.

Melissa Champagne, also based in Toronto, has been promoted to VP Media Planning from group account director and will be taking a lead role on some of the agency’s most recent clients. This year, Spark Foundry has added seven new clients to its roster: Home Hardware, Miele, Blue Diamond, Perrigo, Thermacell, Sunnybrook Foundation and Peoples.

Reddit appoints its first VP of Ads Product

Reddit, a newly public company, has brought Jyoti Vaidee on board to be its VP of Ads Product. Jyoti was most recently director of Product Management at Google where she spent 11 years leading ads products like Google’s Display Ads and monetization efforts. In her new global position, Vaidee will drive strategy, execution, and management of Reddit’s Ads Product organization.

Vaidee brings more than two decades of product management and engineering experience to Reddit. She will report to Roelof van Zwol who is taking on the expanded role of VP of Ads Product and Engineering, Van Zwol is replacing Shariq Rizvi who led Reddit’s Ads Product and Engineering org for more than five years as EVP of Ads Monetization.
