Pinterest has launched Board Sharing, a new feature designed to make it easier for users to share their favourite Pinterest board in a video format across social platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.
The feature is available to merchants, advertisers or anyone with a Pinterest profile with boards. Advertisers can leverage Board Sharing to support shopping on Pinterest, by adding a link along with the board, which will then send users directly to shoppable boards.
The feature also allows Pinterest users and advertisers to compile their favourite boards into a video that can be posted across their key social channels. The new feature also allows users to add a link back to their boards as an invitation for further exploration and engagement with their curated content.
Pinterest reports that more than 10 billion boards have been created on the platform, with Gen Z leading the growth in the number of boards created since last year.
