BecauseILoveIt.com (BILI) – a social platform designed to match and connect influencers with brands looking for content – has expanded its partnership with the Canadian Football League Players’ Association (CFLPA) to include the CFLPA Academy among its roster of influencers.
The agreement with the CFLPA was first inked last year. This additional deal adds 3,400 former CFL players and their families to the platform, increasing BILI’s database to a total of 15,000 amateur and professional athletes in North America.
According to BILI, the addition of the CFLPA Academy means more players will have the opportunity to work with brands and monetize their personal social media presence, as well as connect with fans.
Through its Boost feature, the platform seeks out creators who match brands’ profiles and asks them if they would like to receive their products in exchange for creating content. Some of the brands that have worked with the platform include DAZN, Reckitt and Dr Oetker, as well as agency Dentsu.
The collaboration is also consistent with the CFLPA Academy’s goal of helping members and their families excel in life both during and after their football careers.
