Pluto TV, the free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) platform, and the All Women’s Sports Network (AWSN) have entered into a global content partnership that makes women’s sports available free to audiences around the world.
AWSN debuted June 6 on Pluto TV in Canada, the U.K. and the Nordics, with a simultaneous launch on the platform in the U.S.
Co-founded by Whoopi Goldberg and L.A.-based media company Jungo TV, AWSN was created to provide a platform for the world’s top female athletes and teams.
AWSN’s dedicated Pluto TV channel is a 24/7 linear stream that includes over 2,500 hours of live women’s sports annually along with a roster of on-demand programming.
The new FAST channel gives viewers access to premier competitions and leagues, such as FIBA 3×3; FIBA 3XBA, featuring standout WNBA and NCAA talent; H1 Field Hockey; Barclay’s Women’s Championship and Women’s Football Weekly, with highlights from other European leagues.
Pluto TV, a Paramount company, carries hundreds of live linear channels and thousands of titles on-demand. It partners with over 400 international media companies to offer a wide range of genres, languages and categories of movies, TV series, sports, news, lifestyle and programming for kids.
