NCIS sails to the top: Numeris

Police, legal and hospital procedurals drew Canadian viewers this week as well the return of Quebec drama, 'Fugueuse.'

NCIS was the most-watched single-night broadcast for the week ending Jan. 12, according to numbers from Numeris.

The police procedural raked in an AMA of nearly 2 million viewers across the country while FBI came in a close second with an AMA of 1.78 million followed by Young Sheldon with 1.66 million.

NHL action grabbed the attention of Toronto/Hamilton audiences as the Leafs took on the Oilers drawing an AMA of 479,000 viewers. And in Montreal and Vancouver/Victoria, America’s Got Talent: The Champions made it back into the top-five with AMA’s of 63,000 and 178,000 respectively.

Quebec audiences tuned in for Fugueuse as it drew an AMA of 1.95 million for the premiere of its second season.
