Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for March 22 to March 28, 2010.
Monday: Dancing With The Stars on A at 8 p.m. helped reality shows rule the ratings roost for most of the week with 2.058 million viewers. (House attracted 2.640 million viewers the previous week.)
Tuesday: American Idol on CTV scored the best numbers for the week with a two-hour show at 8 p.m. and 2.896 million viewers tuning in. (American Idol also won last week with 2.570 million viewers.)
Wednesday: Survivor: Heroes & Villains on Global at 8 p.m. with 2.646 million viewers pushed everyone else off the top of the ratings island. (The American Idol results show posted a victory last week with 2.372 million viewers).
Thursday: Grey’s Anatomy on CTV at 9 p.m. rescued scripted dramas from a top ratings lockout with 2.796 million viewers as the week’s second most-watched show. (CTV Evening News won the week prior with 1.543 million viewers.)
Friday: CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. won the evening slot with 1.610 million viewers. (CTV Evening News also won last Friday’s night with 1.543 million viewers.)
Saturday: Hockey Night In Canada, Game #1 on CBC at 7:07 p.m. continued its season-long domination of this time slot with 1.5 million viewers. (It won last week as well with 2.116 million viewers.)
Sunday: Amazing Race 16 on CTV at 8 p.m. entered the winner’s circle on Sunday night with 2.470 million viewers. (The show also won Sunday prime time last week, with 2.002 million viewers.)
