Now that Olympic fever has subsided and awards show season is over, a trio of television’s most intriguing science-fiction stories are back with new episodes on A.
Flashforward, starring Joseph Fiennes and based on the premise that a two-minute, 17-second blackout affects everyone around the world simultaneously, with some seeing their futures flash before their eyes, returns with a special hour-long recap of the series’ first 10 episodes on March 16 at 10 p.m.
Two nights later, the two-hour spring premiere ‘Revelation Zero’ sees the franchise settling into its 8 p.m. time slot on Thursday evenings.
On Tuesday, March 30, the spring premiere of V airs on A. The remake of the late ’70s sci-fi series only aired a four-episode arc before going on hiatus in early December, so viewers will be able to catch up with a recap special called ‘V: The Arrival’ a week earlier on March 23 at 10 p.m. The series continues in its regular Tuesday 10 p.m. time slot.
On Thursday, April 1, the recently-renewed Fringe also returns with more second season episodes and promises of more frequent appearances by Leonard Nimoy and the parallel universe that provides the subplot surrounding the show. Fringe airs Thursdays at 9 p.m.
