Global digital security company ESET signed a multi-year partnership with the Calgary Flames. Going forward, ESET will now be featured on the ice this season in the Scotiabank Saddledome whenever the Flames play.
“Hockey is quintessentially Canadian,” says Bob Bonneau, country manager for Canada at ESET. “ESET is cementing its position as a cybersecurity vendor of choice in Canada by expanding brand awareness nationally, starting with a focus on growth efforts in Alberta.”
ESET will receive significant brand exposure on the Flames home game broadcasts via a corner in-ice brand position and commercials airing on Sportsnet during game broadcasts. The company will also benefit from local activations that include digital signage around the stadium, contests for fans and social media alignment.
In addition, fans attending games of the Calgary Wranglers and Calgary Hitmen (the Flames’ AHL and WHL affiliates, respectively) will also see elements of the partnership.
ESET provides advanced cybersecurity solutions and has offices in Montreal, Toronto and Calgary.
